Bill Beck

Business Development

Prior to owning and operating Hale’s Heating and Cooling, Bill learned the trade in the union. He completed the apprenticeship program and worked in commercial, industrial and tenant finish for over 20 years. He continued his education at Metropolitan Community College (HVAC Program) and business classes at Park University. He holds Master Mechanical and Master Pipe Fitter Licenses. He felt there were opportunities for commercial construction and service and began to pursue that work in 2017.

Bill continues his leadership of the residential business (Hale’s Heating and Cooling) as well as Hale’s Mechanical. Bill combines his expertise and sense of humor to work with general contractors, engineers and team members to solve problems for our customers.

Richie Burge

Project Management

Richie began his career by going to school to become a pharmacist. After two years, he knew it was not the right career for him so he changed direction and joined the Sheet Metal Union to learn the trade. He completed the training and took advantage of opportunities to learn and grow his skills beyond fieldwork.

Richie left the union to join Hale’s in 2017 and has been instrumental in its success. Richie has worn almost every hat in the business and continues to expand his skills to meet our client’s needs. Richie has become a polished project manager but his role in the business goes beyond project management. Richie’s no-nonsense approach to work is the perfect complement to Bill’s humor – together they make Hale’s a fun place to do good work.

Clint Rusher

Field Supervisor

Clint Rusher's journey is a testament to dedication and service. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, in October 1987, Clint's early years in Independence, Missouri, laid the foundation for a life of commitment. After graduating, he took a significant step by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where he not only served his country through four deployments but also shaped future leaders as an instructor for Marine Corps Officers. His transition from military to civilian life in 2019 led him to Hale’s Mechanical, where his leadership skills were quickly recognized, leading to his promotion to Foreman in 2021 and then to Field Operations Manager in 2023. Despite a demanding career, Clint finds joy and balance in life through cherished moments spent with his family, watching his daughters play volleyball, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Mavericks hockey team.
